As a holiday destination the province of Styria has definitely got a lot to offer. Our hospitality and cuisine, the gorgeous and distinct countryside or the cultural opportunities are appreciated by domestic and international guests. These are just some of the reasons why tourists come to the “Green Heart of Austria” all year round to spend their holidays. In all the summers since 1996 some of the world´s best footballers have been on pre-season training camps in Styria to get their finishing touches for the tasks ahead. National squads but also some of the best European clubs come here to prepare for the next football season. They do so especially before World Cups or European Football Championships. In the past years we have been hosting top teams like Arsenal, AS Roma or Real Madrid. Also in the summer of 2017 teams with big names like 1. FC Köln, West Ham, Slavia Prague or FC Copenhagen are planning their pre-season camps here with us. The camps provide multiple benefits. On the one hand, they ensure additional overnight stays providing added value and, on the other hand, media reports about the training camps showcase Styria in markets of importance to us. International Football Camp Styria has been providing ideal training facilities and a perfect setting for footballers for many years.
